Ethos
I believe in positive birth, in whatever form it may take.
I believe in the power and strength of women.

I believe that women should have autonomy over their bodies, making choices that are right for them at the time, free from coercion or bias.
I believe in the magic of oxytocin and that if gently nurtured, this shy, delicate hormone could transform women's birth experiences everywhere.
I believe that evolution has made our bodies capable to birth our babies, and to do so with (actual!) love.
I believe in dispelling the myths told for generations, about women's capabilities and ability to birth.
I believe that there can be many complex life experiences, events and histories that can contribute to someone's choices in their healthcare - making people's choices different. As long as choices are well informed, I believe that they should be respected by others, without judgement or coercion.
I believe that the body and mind are intertwined.
I believe that being active and working with your anatomy, your body and your mind helps your baby to move through you and into the world (water helps with this!!).
